giving yourself away

to a world unkown

hidden behind fake smiles

and endless lies

 

with a social life

only visible

in the sense of a screen

 

with a long pipe

as your new friend

telling gossip

of "he said, she said"

 

you gave yourself away

 

with only a glint

of hope, and one turn

turn quick

before you reach the point

of no return
