i've tried so hard

to be there

it was just us

no Her

no Them

then it was gone

 

You've surpassed me

sociably

academically

even through love

 

although i'm proud

more proud then,

ever imaginable

more proud then,

ever understandable

 

but, it just hurts sometimes.

to me
